Jackets run wild on Tar Heels


In the construction zone once known as Kenan Stadium, UNC and Georgia Tech wheeled out their best available machines yesterday. Carolina rode a John Deere lawnmower with a two-hour gas supply. Georgia Tech climbed on a cement mixer that never stopped churning. The cement mixer prevailed 30-24, a testament to the methodical application of Coach Paul Johnson’s method-driven option offense.
