Tar Heels shrug off problems, win
Posted Sep 27, 2010
Whatever the Tar Heels' win over Rutgers lacked in artistic merit, it made up for in persistence. After an 0-2 start, fueled by an NCAA investigation, and down 10-0 in the first 10 minutes, UNC could have checked out. The players on the field at Rutgers didn't bring the NCAA jailer to Chapel Hill, but they've had to endure the consequences. A win provides a welcome measure of relief to those players.
