Khalif Mitchell makes sudden impact with BC Lions

On Saturday, tackle Khalif Mitchell was an answer in the middle for coach Wally Buono’s cobbled-together defensive line. Mitchell, released by the San Francisco 49ers earlier this month, had an almost immediate impact in his first Canadian Football League game with the Lions, a 29-10 win over the Calgary Stampeders.
