At a time when we're quick to attack college basketball's one-and-done system for turning education into a necessary evil, we should also give credit to a player who is bucking that stereotype. Marvin Williams, the Atlanta Hawks forward who turned pro in 2005 after just one season at North Carolina, told the Atlanta Journal Constitution over the weekend that he's now only three summers from earning his college diploma.
