Burney, Williams Have Appeals Denied By NCAA
Posted Oct 1, 2010
Kendric Burney and Deunta Williams will not be back in Carolina Blue this weekend. The players for North Carolina's football team each had their suspension appeals denied by the NCAA. Burney was originally on a six-game punishment, while Williams was told he'd be sitting out four games. That means Williams has one more game left on his four-game embargo, and Burney will miss three more games.
