All of the Tar Heels’ games have been decided by six or fewer points. No other FBS team can say that. Two of the past four games in this series have been decided by a field goal. So far in 2010, the Tar Heels have forced 10 punts, only one of which they have returned. Only three other FBS teams have returned fewer than two. Prediction: Tar Heels 27, Pirates 22.
