John Blake, Myron Piggie and Jersey Shore

I thinking about Butch Davis and John Blake, it occurred to me that their friendship may actually be the reason why Davis didn’t know about Blake’s side dealings with Gary Wichard. (Bear in mind, I’m merely posing this theory - not endorsing it.) Chances are Davis had heard the whispered questions and accusations about Blake. Maybe he chose to ignore them. Perhaps he wrote it all off to professional jealousy from rival coaches. (ACC Sports Journal)
