The future, aka Dustin Ackley, looks bright in Arizona

Dustin Ackley, the Mariners' top pick in the 2009 draft, was named Arizona Fall League player of the week, and he continued to tear up the desert Monday. Ackley, whom the Mariners have converted to a second baseman, went 2-for-4 with three RBIs and a homer in the Javelinas' 16-8 victory. To earn last week's honors, he hit .556 with seven RBIs, two homers and eight runs. (Seattle Post-Intelligencer)
