Daquan Romero still set to play at North Carolina
Posted Nov 11, 2010
When Phoebus tight end/defensive end Daquan Romero made North Carolina his college choice back in May, he had no way of knowing how things in Chapel Hill would change over the next six months. But Romero, a good bet to repeat as Peninsula District Defensive Player of the Year, remains sold on the Tar Heels. In fact, he says he's on schedule to graduate early and enroll at UNC in January. That would allow him to participate in spring practice. "I'm still set there," he said.
