Tanner McEvoy throws seven TD passes

Tanner McEvoy threw seven touchdown passes for Bergen Catholic in a 65-34 victory over Red Bank Catholic yesterday in the first round of the NJSIAA Non-Public, Group 4 playoffs in Oradell. McEvoy was 14-for-26 for 293 yards for Bergen Catholic. The prolific day saw McEvoy hit receiver Charles Wingate for touchdowns of 43 and 18 yards, Cameron Dickerson for touchdowns of 40 and 60 yards, Spencer Kulcsar for touchdowns of 24 and 22 yards, and Michael Gerst on one from 20.
