TE Drew Owens a South Carolina lean

South Carolina and N.C. State have more in common this season than being two of the nation’s surprise teams. They also are the finalists for tight end Drew Owens (6-foot-5, 230 pounds) of Charlotte. Owens had set Saturday as his announcement day, but none was made. He has not indicated when he will reveal his choice. Sources have indicated Owens is leaning towards South Carolina. (The State)
