Butch Davis has many times expressed his gratitude toward the staff at UNC’s cancer center, as he overcame skin cancer a couple of years ago. But there’s no doubt Davis will give thanks to UNC AD Dick Baddour and Chancellor Holden Thorp standing by him during the on-going NCAA investigation into his program. They have certainly done Davis a solid when a lot of other schools may not have. (Fox Sports Carolinas)
