Rodney Purvis enjoys Louisville visit

Rodney Purvis, a standout guard from North Carolina who is one of the top players nationally in the Class of 2012, made an unofficial visit to the University of Louisville this week. After spending time with coach Rick Pitino, attending class with sophomore Rakeem Buckles and watching the Cardinals rout Chattanooga on Monday night, Purvis said he left impressed with U of L. “The visit was wonderful,” Purvis said. “I met new people, hung out with the players and really got a good feeling for the university and the coaches.” (Louisville Courier-Journal)
