“We got whipped in every sense of the word,” Duke coach David Cutcliffe said. “We were fortunate to be in position to have a chance. My job is to have us ready to perform at levels that are consistently good. We were far from being consistently good. They have a good football team, not a great football team. We at times made them look like a great football team.”
