Former UNC player in line as Hoosiers head football coach

Oklahoma offensive coordinator and former UNC player Kevin Wilson will be the new head coach Indiana, according to ESPN and various news outlets. The 49-year-old Maiden, N.C. native had some support for the Carolina job when Butch Davis was hired after the 2006 season. Wilson, a lineman and linebacker, played for the Tar Heels during the early ‘80s under Dick Crum. (Raleigh News & Observer)
