Lawrence Taylor's rape trial may start next month

The trial of former Giants football great Lawrence Taylor on rape charges could kick off as soon as next month, a source said Tuesday. Taylor, 51, who is accused of bedding a 16-year-old prostitute in a Rockland County hotel room, said nothing at a brief court hearing Tuesday. No deal appears to be in the offing.
