Tar Heels happy about Nashville bowl


North Carolina’s tumultuous football season fell short of every goal and aspiration, but it can still finish with a significant victory. The players thought that they had a chance of reaching a BCS bowl game before investigations by the NCAA for illegal contact with sports agents and the school for academic impropriety cost the team some of its most important players.
