Karl joins Larry Brown in the 1,000-NBA win club

Larry Brown is one of Karl’s good pals in basketball. The two North Carolina-bred coaches are now both members of the 1,000-win club. Eleven years older than Karl, Larry Brown was living in Chapel Hill when Karl showed on campus. “He was cocky as (expletive),” Brown said with a smile. “Nothing’s changed.” (Denver Post)
