Donnie Walsh, the real MVP of the Knicks turnaround, deserves chance to finish what he started

The real MVP of the Knicks' season wasn't in the house on Wednesday night, the best basketball night at Madison Square Garden in 10 years. Donnie Walsh, the old New York City basketball guy who came home to clean up Isiah Thomas' mess at the Garden, is still recovering from hip surgery, the latest in a series of physical maladies for him, still needs a walker to get around when he attends Knicks' practices up in Greenburgh, N.Y. (New York Daily News)
