A true UNC mascot …

I remember the day well. It was the end of March almost four years ago, and UNC was in the middle of the NCAA tournament. Carolina had won its sweet sixteen game the night before when a friend of mine told me that Jason Ray, who played UNC’s beloved mascot Ramses, had been hit by a car. It was a very sad day for Chapel Hill, because every single Carolina student knew Jason – either inside of his costume, or out of it. (UNC Health Care Blog)
