BC Offensive Coordinator Gary Tranquill Retires

Boston College [and former UNC] offensive coordinator Gary Tranquill is retiring. The 70-year-old Tranquill made the announcement on Tuesday after spending two seasons under coach Frank Spaziani. The Eagles were 8-5 in 2009 and 7-6 this season, which ended with a 20-13 loss to Nevada in the Fight Hunger Bowl on Sunday night. (ACC Sports Journal)
