No stopping Connecticut women

North Carolina learned on Monday that there was more to beating Connecticut than stopping Maya Moore. Tiffany Hayes scored 29 to lead the No. 2 Huskies to an 83-57 win over 10th-ranked UNC at Carmichael Arena. UNC coach said she hoped her team would have put up a better fight against the Huskies. "I'm disappointed we didn't give them a better game," Hatchell said. (Durham Herald-Sun)
