Danny Green, the 46th overall pick of the 2009 NBA Draft, will be attempting his NBA comeback through the NBA Development League. A league source told FanHouse that the former Tar Heel has signed a D-League contract and is expected to clear waivers on Tuesday. Green, a 6-foot-6 wing out of UNC, played two games in November with the San Antonio Spurs after being released by the Cleveland Cavaliers.
