N.C.'s top-ranked football players bypass Wolfpack

N.C. State's football program showed signs of a long-awaited resurgence in 2010. You would never know it from looking at the Wolfpack's recruiting rankings for the Class of 2011. In 2010, N.C. State's nine wins tied for the second-highest total in school history. But as of Thursday, the Wolfpack's recruiting class was ranked 11th in the 12-team ACC by scout.com and 12th by rivals.com with signing day just four days away.
