Connecticut coach Geno Auriemma was happy to have just a one-day break between games to get ready for the top-ranked Huskies’ showdown with No. 3 North Carolina on Monday night. With Tennessee-UConn no longer part of the regular-season schedule, the contest between the top-ranked and undefeated Huskies (17-0) and the Tar Heels (17-1) has become one of the season’s marquee games.
