Signing day: UNC class ranked 17th best in nation

An NCAA investigation bogged down North Carolina during the 2010 season and there are possible NCAA sanctions looming, but the Tar Heels’ coaching staff approached recruiting by being as open as possible with players and their families. It paid off Wednesday as UNC signed 25 players to reel in the 17th best class in the nation, according to Scout.com. (Durham Herald-Sun)
