Maryland ends UNC's perfect season in Chapel Hill


Clemson and Georgia Tech both had their chances to trip up North Carolina in the last two weeks. The Tar Heels survived both games, but cracks in the façade remained. UNC's day of reckoning finally came Saturday. After going through the motions for the first 20 minutes, the top-ranked Tar Heels suffered their first loss of the season when the Terrapins surprise UNC 82-80 at the Smith Center.
