UPDATED: UNC targeting 2011 JuCo players to replace Larry Drew?

Join recruiting insider/evaluator and former college basketball coach, Coach Bill, for post-game reactions and answers to your questions regarding tonight's matchup between UNC and Florida State on his live Internet radio show "Off The Boards". The show airs at 4:30pm EST, and the call-in number is 347-857-3281. At the end of the show, Coach Bill promises to "reveal the names of 2 JUCO prospects that UNC is now strongly considering for next year, after the departure of ."

UPDATE FROM COACH BILL:

As I announced on my Talk Show a little earlier, here are multiple names of Juco Guards that UNC is strongly considering/evaluating as possible last signees & replacement for for Next season:

Pierre Jackson - 5'10" - College of Southern Idaho (Las Vegas,NV / Desert Pines h.s.)

22 games
17 ppg
110 assists
61 turnovers
49 steals
38% 3-pt shooter (41-108)
87% FT shooter (83-95)

Seeing some footage of him...he looks to be Fast, quick, can Dunk at 5'10". He seems to be able to score at three levels, has great lift on his jump shot, and gave me the impression that he has a "solid" balance between looking to score & run a team.

For the hardcore Recruiting junkie...he reminds me a bit (size, athleticism , scoring/shooting capacity) of Jahii Carson, the highly rated 2011 point guard signed to Arizona State.

Here is a Link of him from his senior year in high school: www.youtube.com/watch?v=PeHgaGn8EJI

Darius Smith - 6'2" - College of Southern Idaho (Chicago,IL / John Marshall h.s.; was @ UConn his Freshman year)

22 games
9 ppg
122 assists
74 turnovers
66 steals
33% 3-pt shooter (5-15)
76% FT shooter (58-76)

Here are some clips of him from his senior year in high school: www.youtube.com/watch?v=aRSIu4XWvAs

I was also told that UNC is looking at a Guard from Chipola Junior College. My belief is that the player is Sam Grooms - 6'1" from Greensboro,NC
(no stats available).
