‘Lucky’ Tar Heels comfortable in clutch


Roy Williams identified an element that has pulled the top-ranked Tar Heels through in a couple of recent games. And he’d rather not rely on it again this afternoon against Maryland at the Smith Center. “Luck is part of it,” he said Friday of the Tar Heels’ knack for pulling out close games. “I’d like to give you some coachspeak or something, but we were lucky (to beat Clemson and Georgia Tech).” (Burlington Times News)
