Juco LB Fabby Desir to sign with UNC today


North Carolina will add junior college linebacker to a 2011 class that was ranked No. 17 in the nation by scout.com on signing day. Desir will sign with the Tar Heels at noon today, Lackawanna (Pa.) College coach Mark Duda said. Desir is 6-foot and 230 pounds and also had considered Cincinnati and Ball State, and received late interest from Alabama, Duda said. Desir visited North Carolina last week and will sign this morning at Scranton High, where he played in high school. (Raleigh News & Observer)
