Tar Heel women bounce back from recent losses, advance to second round

After staggering to the end of the regular season on a four-game losing streak, North Carolina welcomed a fresh start at the ACC women's basketball tournament. On Thursday night at the Greensboro Coliseum, the Tar Heels appeared rejuvenated from the opening tip. Sixth-seeded UNC scored the game's first nine points and never trailed in a 78-64 win over Clemson in an ACC Tournament first-round game. (Durham Herald-Sun)
