UNC Women Earn At-Large Bid To NCAA Tournament


The University of North Carolina women's basketball team was awarded an at-large bid to the 2011 NCAA Tournament and will open play against WAC champion Fresno State on Saturday, March 19, in Albuquerque, N.M. UNC, which enters the tournament with a record of 26-8, is the No. 5 seed in the Spokane Region, while the Bulldogs (25-7) are the No. 12 seed. (Tar Heel Blue)
