Carolina proved too athletic


That initial flash of Carolina blue and white, little more than a blur and a "whoosh," can't help but have an impact on you. In the case of Marquette, the sheer speed and athleticism was utterly unnerving. And so the Tar Heels took Cinderella's glass slipper and shattered it into a million tiny pieces on the conforming floor the NCAA put down in The Rock, delivering the latest roundhouse blow to the Big East.
