Chicago Bears' Lovie Smith scouting talent at UNC

The last time Chicago Bears coach Lovie Smith visited North Carolina for a trip unrelated to a football game, he returned with Julius Peppers. Maybe Smith's latest trek to Tobacco Road will uncover another gem on the defensive line. Smith is scheduled to attend Thursday's Pro Day at the University of North Carolina, where 19 former Tar Heels will try to follow Peppers' path to the pros.
