Quinton Coples, Matt Merletti on Lott Trophy Watch List

UNC's Quinton Coples and Matt Merletti join Duke's Matt Daniels as players named to the 2011 Lott IMPACT Trophy Watch List, honoring the top collegiate defensive player in the country. Coples is a 6-6, 245-pound defensive end who led the team in tackles for losses, sacks and quarterback hurries a year ago. Merletti is a 5-11, 185-pound safety who had two interceptions and 37 tackles a year ago. (WRAL Sports Fan)
