Detroit Lions may select Bruce Carter

There is some risk involved, but the Lions might be able to fill one of their biggest defensive needs by dipping below the surface of the talent pool of linebackers. Bruce Carter is a prime risk-reward prospect in this year’s draft. Carter built a resume in his first 49 games at North Carolina that would put him high on the list of outside linebacker prospects.
