Latta relishes UNC's honors

Ivory Latta returned to North Carolina's Carmichael Auditorium to smile for the cameras one more time. In a ceremony at halftime of the Tar Heels' game against Georgia Tech, the bubbly and energetic former point guard was honored at halfcourt as a black covering was removed to show her No. 12 jersey hanging in the rafters. Latta is only the second women's basketball player in UNC history to have her jersey retired. (Raleigh News & Observer)
