Bruce Carter expected to be a high NFL pick

For four years at North Carolina, Bruce Carter demonstrated his brute strength, gritty work ethic and his electric speed. Carter, a Havelock graduate and former Tar Heel linebacker, will likely hear his name called early in this week’s NFL draft. The NFL draft begins with the first round tonight (8 p.m., NFL Network, ESPN). (Havelock News)
