Jabari Parker No. 1 in 2013 basketball rankings

Chicago Simeon sophomore Jabari Parker is the No. 1 player in the new Class of 2013 rankings released on Thursday by Scout.com. The 6-foot-7 Parker lists a bunch of schools, including DePaul, Illinois, Duke, Kansas and Kentucky. Plano, Texas, forward Julius Randle dropped from No. 1 to No. 2 in the rankings, while Everett, Mass., center Nerlens Noel rose to No. 3, Bonifay, Fla., forward Chris Walker is No. 4 and Phoenix guard Chris Thomas checks in at No. 5.
