Heather O'Reilly leads USA women past Japan in Cary exhibition

Former UNC women's soccer star has always received a warm welcome at Cary's WakeMed Soccer Park, whether it was for her first appearance and goal for the U.S. Women's National team as a 17-year-old or winning three ACC championships while with the Tar Heels. A standing ovation awaited her as she made her way to the bench Wednesday in the 72nd minute. (Raleigh News & Observer)
