The combination of impressive physical attributes and a strong academic standing is providing Pinecrest junior Bryce Kennedy with a wealth of opportunities to play football at the next level. The 6-foot-3 ½ (in his stocking feet) and 285 pound offensive lineman worked out for Stanford offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton at Pinecrest on Wednesday. The colleges that have already made scholarship offers include South Carolina, UNC, N.C. State, Duke, East Carolina, Temple and Florida International. (Southern Pines Pilot)
