Tar Heels top JMU to advance to Super Regionals

Thanks to Sunday’s 9-3 victory over James Madison on Sunday night, the No. 3 national seed Tar Heels are one series away from returning to Omaha. UNC advanced to the NCAA Super Regionals for the fifth time in six years. It will face the winner of the Cal State-Fullerton regional in a best-of-three series next weekend at Boshamer Stadium for the right to advance to the eight-team CWS. (Raleigh News & Observer)
