College World Series bracket set: UNC, UVA represent ACC

The College World Series bracket is finally set, with two teams representing the ACC in Omaha. Virginia joined North Carolina among the final eight on Monday — by the slimmest of margins – with a come-from-behind 3-2 victory in the bottom of the ninth against UC-Irvine. Florida State missed giving the league a hat trick of teams by coming up small in an 11-2 loss to Texas A&M. (Wilmington Star News)
