Dustin Ackley to make Major League debut on Friday

The much-anticipated Major League debut of top prospect Dustin Ackley will come on Friday, as the Mariners will recall the 2009 first-round Draft choice from Triple-A Tacoma on Thursday. The Mariners are off Thursday, so the highly touted second baseman will debut Friday, when Seattle opens a three-game series with the Phillies at Safeco Field. (MLB.com)
