CWS Game One Notes

Saturday marked the ninth College World Series appearance in program history for Carolina, and the fifth in the last six seasons. With the loss, UNC is now 14-18 all-time in CWS play, including a 12-10 record in the last five appearances. The Tar Heels dropped the opening game of the CWS for the fifth time and the second straight appearance. (Tar Heel Blue)
