Tar Heels face 4-game test after loss


Against Vanderbilt in the opening game of the 2011 College World Series on Saturday, UNC's bats sputtered when the Tar Heels needed them most. Third-seeded UNC left a season-high 16 players on base to fall to sixth-seededVanderbilt 7-3 in the first game held at the new TD Ameritrade Park and now face an uphill climb to reach the finals in the double elimination format.
