North Carolina's 51 wins on the season rank in a tie for fourth in school history with the 1990 squad that went 51-14. The Tar Heels have finished in at least fifth place in Omaha in each of the past five trips. Carolina finished the season with a .979 fielding percentage, the highest in school history.
