Ex-QB Ronald Curry offers role model for Terrell Pryor
Despite a successful career as the Tar Heels’ signal-caller,
Ronald Curry lasted until the seventh round of the 2002 Draft, ending up with the Oakland Raiders. He took three years to break into the Raiders’ rotation as a receiver, but in 2004, he broke out with 50 catches for 679 yards in only 11 games before tearing an Achilles’ tendon. Re-injuring the same tendon in 2005 cost him all but two games. (
