Roy Williams back home in Marion for dedication of marker in his honor

A legendary basketball coach makes a return trip to his birthplace in the mountains. UNC Coach Roy Williams was in McDowell County Monday, for a dedication of a new marker in his honor. The Carolina Blue marker states Williams was born in 1950 at the Marion General Hospital. Coach Williams says the large crowd of supporters was overwhelming, and brought back old memories.
