Deon Thompson signs 2-year deal with Slovenian pro team

Union Olimpija fortified its frontcourt for the upcoming Turkish Airlines Euroleague season by inking power forward Deon Thompson to a two-year deal, the club announced Wednesday. Thompson arrives from Ikaros Kallitheas, where he averaged 14.1 points, 8.8 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 25 Greek League games last season. (Euroleague.net)
